🇬🇧 Medieval Philosophy in the Contemporary World
The Commission addresses some perspectives from which contemporary thinkers hold a dialogue with medieval philosophy: intellectual approaches that have suggested interesting links between medieval philosophy and contemporary world, as well as its occurrence in intellectual debates of our time. Tentatively, we would establish two working groups to investigate: different sectors of the analytical thought that have displayed kind of pathway for dialogue with medieval philosophy; Continental philosophy and intellectuals who have approached to medieval philosophy from perspectives and interpretations as creative as suggestive.
🇪🇸 Filosofía medieval en el mundo contemporáneo
La Comisión aborda el enfoque desde el cual algunos pensadores contemporáneos reflexionan en diálogo con el pensamiento medieval, cómo se vinculan la filosofía medieval y el mundo contemporáneo, así como su presencia en los debates intelectuales de nuestro tiempo. En principio, estableceríamos dos grupos de trabajo dispuestos a investigar: por un lado, los distintos sectores del pensamiento analítico que permitirían establecer puentes para el diálogo; por otro lado, los pensadores y corrientes de la filosofía continental que abordan el pensamiento medieval a partir de interpretaciones tan creativas como sugerentes.
